Urogynecology Consultants for complex gynecologic conditions

Advanced care when you need it

There are many reasons you might struggle with a complex gynecologic condition. Sometimes, surgical procedures result in unexpected complications. Or, for some women, complex congenital issues such as MRKH syndrome may result in pelvic pain, painful intercourse or even an inability to have intercourse. Symptoms like these can be frightening, but at Urogynecology Consultants, our board-certified surgeons are exceptionally skilled at repairing damage, restoring function and helping you heal.

Conditions we treat include:

  • Vaginal mesh complications (including transvaginal mesh)
  • Postsurgical vaginal shortening/scarring
  • Endometriosis
  • Uterine fibroids
  • Urinary tract infection
  • Congenital malformations (vaginal agenesis MRKH syndrome)

If you suffer from a complex gynecologic condition, you may have been told you will simply have to live with it. The truth is, complex conditions require advanced surgical techniques, the kind only offered by board-certified, fellowship-trained physicians like Dr. Wesley Hilger, Dr. Sesh Kasturi, and Dr. Kristen Buono. Our doctors utilize laparoscopic, robotic surgery and vaginal approaches to treatment that are individualized for each patient. Whenever possible, we also offer nonsurgical treatment such as pelvic floor therapy, trigger point injection and intramuscular Botox®. We are also one of the few practices who use the endoscopy-assisted Vecchietti method and laparoscopic Davydov method for vaginal reconstruction.
